Last year's pen of the year from Graf von Faber Castell, used amber as its focal component. This year stingray leather takes the stage. The pens use Southeast Asian stingray which is considered to be one of the most durable leathers. The pen comes in two colors anthracite and olive. The pen cap is platinum plated and has a spring-loaded clip. It has an 18K nib available in fine, medium and broad sizes. It sells for $2,500.

This is a very nice pen. The stingray leather is very durable. This is definitely a pen that should last a very long time. Unfortunately I do not have a couple thousand to drop for a single pen. If you have one, could I borrow your pen?
